Wilbat Projects established in 1997, is a Private College specializing in Engineering Training, which prides itself in being one of the best Training Facilities in Kwa-Zulu Natal. We hold Accreditation with the Manufacturing Engineering and Related Services SETA (MERSETA) and are Registered with the Department of Labour and Departments of Education respectively. Our focus as a Training Provider is to assist in the alleviation of unqualified artisans in the engineering industry and to implement the development of existing employees within the engineering industries Countrywide. Wilbat Projects is currently performing services for the Department of Labour; Departments of Education and Merseta, which boosts a variety of training programmes and Methodology of training, these provide both theoretical and practical training in the areas of outcomes based courses namely:

  • Recognition of Prior Learning
  • Skills Development Facilitation and Assessments
  • Apprenticeships

  • Artisan Accelerated Training and Skills Programme Training


These are all designed to suit any client, be it a Company or Independent students. Wilbat offers the service of managing the entire programme for our client from Application to Certification of students.

The College is a Corporate Member of (SAIW) South African Institute of Welding as well as a Corporate Member with SEIFSA (Membership No. 10454)
